8:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel and drive to Cu Chi Tunnels – a former battlefield located about 60km from Ho Chi Minh City.
Cu Chi is known as a heroic district for its vital role during the Vietnam War. The area features an extensive underground tunnel network stretching over 220km, offering insight into the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese fighters.
Along the way, enjoy peaceful countryside views with rice paddies, ducks, and water buffalo roaming near small rivers. It’s hard to imagine this quiet area was once devastated by bombs and chemical defoliants.
