DAY 1: HANOI - LANG SON - CAO BANG [L]
Depart from Hanoi at 7:30 AM for Cao Bang. Along the journey, take in the peaceful scenery of the Vietnamese countryside.
Make a stop in Lang Son to explore the Tam Thanh Cave. Continue your route toward Cao Bang with several scenic and cultural stops, including visits to Tay ethnic villages, encounters with Tay and Dzao people, opportunities for photography, and local markets.
Arrive in Cao Bang by late afternoon.
Overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 2: CAO BANG - BAN GIOC [B/L]
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM to visit the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfalls, known as the tallest and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam.
Take time to enjoy the breathtaking views before heading to Nguom Ngao Cave for further exploration.
Return to Cao Bang in the afternoon.
Overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 3: CAO BANG - BA BE LAKE [B/L]
Leave Cao Bang around 8:00 AM for Ba Be Lake, a tranquil mountain region located about 150 km away.
Arrive in Cho Ra in the afternoon.
Overnight in Ba Be.
DAY 4: BOAT TRIP ON BABE LAKE [B/L]
Today you’ll explore the natural beauty of Ba Be National Park.
Take a boat ride on the Nang River, visit caves and waterfalls along the way.
Discover the Pac Ngoi ethnic village, home to the Tay people, and experience their local customs and traditional meals.
Overnight in Ba Be.
DAY 5: BA BE – HANOI [B/L]
After breakfast, begin the return drive to Hanoi around 8:00 AM.
Make several stops along the way to explore more ethnic minority villages.
Stop in Thai Nguyen to visit the Museum of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups.
Arrive back in Hanoi around 4:00 PM.
